Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Account data: email and username; or, if you use external login, the provider's user id and your public display name/avatar from Discord, Steam or GitHub.
Uploaded content: the mod files you upload, their metadata (name, version, changelog), and a SHA-256 hash of each file.
Usage & technical data: server logs, IP address, and basic request information used for security and reliability.
Cookies: a session/authentication cookie so you can stay logged in.

2. How we use it

To operate the Service: accounts, publishing, search, reviews, comments and downloads.
To scan uploads for malware and dangerous code before publishing.
To moderate content and enforce our Terms.
To keep the Service secure and to diagnose problems.

3. Third parties

Login providers (Discord, Steam, GitHub): when you sign in with them, they share a limited profile with us per their terms.
Malware scanning: uploads are scanned locally (ClamAV + static analysis). If an optional multi-engine check (e.g. VirusTotal) is enabled, a file or its hash may be sent to that third-party service — we'll disclose this and avoid uploading private files where possible.
We do not sell your personal data.

4. Data retention

We keep account and content data while your account is active and as needed to operate the Service, comply with the law, and maintain version history. Rejected or removed uploads may be retained for security and audit purposes.

5. Your rights & choices

You can view and manage your profile, change your email/password, manage linked logins, and download or delete your personal data from your account settings. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (access, correction, deletion, portability) — contact us to exercise them.

6. Security

Passwords are stored hashed; uploads are quarantined and only served after passing scanning/approval. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under the age required by your jurisdiction to consent to data processing. Don't use the Service if you're under that age.
